答案选的D,我选的B. 做的时候就在B和D之间徘徊了起码50秒,考虑了半天.

B和D区别主要是分号和逗号的使用.我看见的是第一个分句开头有since的时间状语,觉得是整个分句做时间状语从句,所以选了B,但是答案的意思好象是说SINCE引导的那个句子是个独立单句.

想请教牛牛们,我的想法错在哪里了.

我这么认为：B中的their指代什么呢？？women in upper-level management 吗？？但是我

觉得female executives和women in upper-level management 意思上出入，后者范围更广吧

   还有一个不太肯定的地方，两个独立的单句，改为主从句，算不算句子重心转移？？

   另外，Since 1975就表明前面不是时间状语从句啊！除非是Since the number of women in upper-level management in American corporations 怎样怎样，这样才是从句，我觉得

尽管这个题根据主谓一致和平衡对称原则，答案d最优，不过d中用一般现在时still lag不用现在完成时still have lagged的确不妥。

B错。因为however在GMAT中不可作连词使用，只能作副词, 因此B选项中没有分号，缺少连词，错！
