呵呵，谢谢大家，小弟实在不敢当

不过今天我听申请duke的朋友说她收到了封信，说昨天applyyourself确实出了服务器问题，因此duke把deadline延长了一天，不知同为ay客户的hbs/wharton会怎么做……

The applyyourself server was so slow when approaching to the HBS deadline.  It refused my essay unload no matter how many times I tried.  I thought the server did virus checking or some backend stuffs.  Anyway, I changed the essay from WORD format to PDF and then the file size was reduced to 30% of the original file size.  Also, the server did not check PDF files.  Bingo! The applyyourself server liked the taste of PDF format and I had a very smooth ride after that. 

I hope this trick will help those who like to rush close to the deadline.  Guess the business world will still need problem solving engineers like me.

The applyyourself server will convert all other file formats to PDF first. The server only has limited number of software licenses for doing such conversion, that means, at any given time, the number of files it can process is limited by the number of licenses the company has acquired. The license is quite expensive for commerical use so the number of license won't be big. That should explain the problem.
