c是不对，如果by using可以这么用的话，not后面必须加上by，prep一直强调的一致性，平行。还有and后面的by attracting错误，逻辑上call female 和attract是并列平行的。

and前面说call 通过什么不是什么，后面说attract在什么时候不在什么时候，完美的平行结构啊。直接选D，其他连看都不要看

这道题目，我一开始就把d，e排除了，通过by using，很明显修饰的是谓语动词call
直接using，就应该是修饰them了
这道题目怎么都想不明白，请大家指教
