On their note, it was just following last year's email. Although it is still not 100% interviewed students get admitted eventually, but the ratio should be higher as it is believed that the interview opportunities are much lesser this year (As mentioned by Derrick that he wants to increase admission rate for interviewed potentials).
On the other hand, if I don't get an invitation, I have no chance at all - duh!
