这里的done用得很别扭,而且his own envisioning....中的his容易造成歧义.
同时envision有名词不应该用动名词形式.
这道题的正确答案应该是A.
但是希望下次把正确答案贴出来.

好像A和E 句义也不同:
A: 前面的"Essay on Heat and Light"既是 a critique 也是 a vision
E: 前面的"Essay on Heat and Light" 是在critiquing both the chemistry and his own envisioning....

还是觉得没明白，A为什么不对

容易排除D、E，因为改变了原意（本来是一个"Essay on Heat and Light," 的同位语，改为了伴随状态，除非A、B、C都错，才考虑D、E）

C也很好排除,原因不对称~~

剩下A、B，真得好像就到了品位as well as 和and also哪个更恰当的时候~~~

在这种表示并列关系的情况下，好像and also胜出的可能性要大一些~~~

我认为是A。同意小鱼的观点，至少envision有名词不应该用动名词形式是正确地。
