得出以下结论,请批评：
1、amount to a sum 冗余，但此题所有答案在此点上都错，无从比较
2、介词 + less than 中的 less 作名词用，不可替代
3、当less 作为 little 的比较级修饰名词时，应修饰不可数名词 （与 fewer 相反）；但
   名词(如 sales, population，weight) + of + less than 常用，因为在此 less 作名词用
4、less 可作副词修饰形容词（与 more 对应），如 less likely
