I suggest that you read and understand the oringinal sentence before going to any choice. You can find the sentence is very messy. Then you start to read the choices. However, both B and C seem right. OK, leave them there and go on. D and E can be eliminated right away. Now go back to the difference between B and C. Oh, C lacks a word 'reputed', which is in the original one. So B is right.

两个比较的对象不对称，所以C是不对的。
