刚写了一篇作文，求批。。。大约有400多字，有超时了5分钟。

题目，agree or disagree parents are the best teachers.

As the proverb says, “Two heads are always better than one”. Everyone could be a teacher of others, but who is best is under intensive controversy. Some people hold the opinion that parents are the best teacher due to their responsibility and passion. Others disagreed that, without enough time and abundant knowledge, parents could not be regarded as the best. From my perspective, avoid of professional technology, enough time and excellent personality, parents might be willing to be the best, but they are virtually not the best.

 

First and foremost, I maintain that parents are not regarded as professional teachers for their shortage of knowledge. It is undoubted that a good teacher should lead his/her students preparing for the job search and future life. But many of these parents do not skilled at computer, calculation and communication. They can not provide these benefits. Take my schoolmates Mr. Wang for example. When all students confront a puzzle of hunting for good job opportunities, he told us profoundly, “my parents will do this for me, and they are engineers.” But the consequence was different from what he said; he could not even found a position. In contrast, some intelligent ones regarded the computer and the internet as a good teacher. They search the crucial information about the position they were eager for in different websites. Finally, they are successfully hunting excellent jobs. Compared with those two examples, we can fairly confidentially draw the conclusion that parents are not always the best teachers.

 

Furthermore, parents are unable to stay to teach all the time and no matter where you are. Whether parents are good teachers also depends on the likelihood of teaching. There are many different situations that parents can not reach you. For example, more and more students further their advanced studies in foreign countries. When they are on abroad, instrumental contacts with parents will reduce gradually. Under such a circumstance, they should learn to live by themselves and alone. The society might be the best teacher instead of parents.

 

As teachers, there are also a myriad of other demerits of parents. They seldom have excellent personalities like leadership, perseverance, and decision making ability. Even engineers could do limited helps for their young. Teachers from school, society, employers might be the best teacher in different period.

 

Undeniably, as teachers, parents have some merits. They are invariably the most responsible and careful teachers for children. Compared to overwhelming demerits including shortage of professional knowledge, enough time and special personalities, parents should not be called the best teachers.

12月的第一天，距离考试6天，得抓紧了，作文每天得练，阅读和听力也准备启动了。

考完toefl准备gmat，不知道我这个水平准备多久。

今天晨读中一些不错的词。not enough= scarce, beneficial=instrumental, endurance=perseverance. efficiency.

倒装，Only in.... can sb...do .., detrimental, overweitght= overwhelm, respect=dignity. credulous
