若是独立主格结构的话，with前面应当加“，”——逗号。
merger是指两个公司合并，所以要选用the merger  of the nation’s leading gas company and leading electric company

gas and elctronic company会误以为是一家公司，就像一人兼两个职位的那种结构 the teacher and lawyer~实际上只以个人有教师和律师的两种职位~
