请问本科统计申商学院phd哪个方向最match?

无工作经验，有实习

因为不少商学院的finance的minor 方向都是applied statistics, 所以是不是本科申请也有机会？

另外看business and economics statistics这本杂志上发表文章的也一水是商学院的，所以有点心动

另外，本科生应该怎么弥补自己的劣势呢

it is not a matter of fact which concentration matches your background (stats). however, it does matter where your research interests are. phd is a long run investment (at least 5 years for most people with (a) master(s).) therefore, you really can not continue to the end if you do not like the subject.

我只是觉得背景match的话，应该录取几率会大一点

其实我本来是想申business statistics, 因为跟着应用统计的老师做了东西，也修了金融的课程，觉得这个方向自己很喜欢

但是看了那么多商学院，真的很少有专门有统计的

沃顿那个，和传统的统计系无异

但是没有master 的经历是非常不利的

所以想用各方面弥补一下

If you did your undergraduate in the States, then apply and have a try. If not, It is a good idea to come to enroll in a master degree and you will find more opportunities.
