我这里的答案是选D,但我是选B,因为倒装不是强烈的语气表达要保留吗?

A是代词有问题排除?那到底是B还是D呀? NOT ONLY BUT ALSO不能表达转折的意思吗?

我觉得D选项如果是：

就完美了，正确的表达了转折；没有用not only,避免了not only……but also须成对使用的问题；我觉得更重要的是create与give没有并列！依题意，不是systematic clearing give便宜的住房，而是farmland提供了便宜住房？？？

Sorry，忽然又觉得D不改是最完美的，答案就应该是D，因为后面便宜的家具是不能由farmland提供的，看来还是得create与give并列！！！！

not only放在句首的情况 but also前后要平行

not only全倒装，but (also) 正常语序

e.g.
