do you agree or disagree that the products advertised are better than they actually are.

It is quite possible for a modern dweller to be stuffed with advertisements whenever he gets up to skim over newspapers in the morning or scroll the button of television in break. There are countless commodities been vividly featured or even boasted.  Indeed, advertisements provide a powerful channel for customers to get access to the newly goods and brands. However, upon those appealing ads, people are likely to led by the slogans and commitments while confused in distinguishing the actual utility. From my perspective, products advertised are invariably much better than the quality they actually consume.

In the first place, undoubtedly, advertisers, striving for the business success are trying to exaggerate the virtues of the products while ignoring the defects from the public. Companies use the mass media to reach the customers at the cost of high fees for ads. A successful advertisement needs innovative and impressive design which requires the effort of first-level designers and prime time in popular programs which virtually will take the larger part of the whole manufacturing circle. It suffices to prove that one second for advertisement in the intersection of CCTV at the time between 7-8pm will cost 200 million yuan. Therefore, manufacturers grasp the few seconds to achieve their ideal effects. It is no wonder that they involve celebrities in the perfect time and this deliberate ad to convince the viewers this best choice. In this way, the products are more alluring than they actually are.

Additionally, the audiences are expecting more than the mere display of merchandise. High tech and celebrities can give them moments of entertainment and relax. Probably no one can put up with the boring and tedious demonstration of the instructions which printed only on the packaging. The dramatic effects of ads involve in the feelings of the viewers by introducing them to the enjoyment of possessing the goods just as celebrities. Because of the entertaining purpose, the advertisements employ some artificial and exaggerating elements. For instance, a piece of normal chewing gum in the ads will be so great to relief ones' tiredness and fresh him as the air in some primitive country while the public enjoy the beautiful scenery and the feeling of relax more than the gum itself.

第一段感觉写的多了些.我减了一些字.

(Currently, adv. inevitably permeates our common people’ lives and definitely affects our buying decision. Much as we may pride ourselves on our good taste, we are no longer free to choose the things we want; adv. exerts a subtle influence on us. However, are the qualities of those products advertised really perfect as what are announced on adv? From my perspective, advertise, more or less, exaggerates the product’s function and quality.)
