考大学时没有考到目标的大学，是不是non-academic disappointment？

我理解 academic disappointment是指学术研究上的失望。

carolfmm, I think that counts too. but you have to be careful, because it is very easy to expose your professional weakness. that is why in US, people love to do community services. heyhey, it is a fail-safe environment in terms of experience
