答案是c, 我选a。我认为如果用 分词 作状语，应该用 intending, 查了朗文字典，两种用法intend to do , be intended to do 都有，晕。不过用 intend to do 的主语是人，用be intended to do 的主语一般是物。请 牛牛们指教。

答案应该没错。
其一、with the intention to 应为the intention of doing sth 这是一个固定搭配，可在字典中查到；
其二、这里intended应该修饰mutual fund , 而非allocator.

谢谢你的回答，我又看了看题，字典中，the intention to do 和 the intention of doing sth 都对，不过答案是c 因为 allocator 不能是  to turn in 的逻辑主语，所以用 intended 修饰 mutual fund,或 portfolios, 但到底是修饰那个还是不太清楚，请指教。

C is suspicious. in fact, OFTEN IN THE FORM OF MUTUAL FUNDS is adv. (cha ru ru), ALLOCATORS r the subject of TURN IN, it's the asset allocators what have the intention to turn in ...  (eg, She felt offended at my remards, but it wasnot my intertion to hurt her. quoted from dictionary) So I hight recommend choice A.   But anybody can explain why choice C should be considered??? Merce.
