答案是A。 我根据时态选对的。解释中说：its agrees with retailers; the past perfect had been indicates action prior to the simple past said; recent modifies extended sales slump.

我的问题是，如果我把A改成“its many problems had been the recently" 对吗？

个人认为recently extended sales slump 比较合理啊。为什么这里答案认为recently是修饰extended sales slump, 而不是extended呢？不理解～

还有recent是修饰sales的，不是修饰slump的

slump是one的谓语
