HBS推荐信的疑问

我怎么感觉HBS推荐信的第一题和第三题有小小重复呢。

第一题说"briefly describe the applicant's role in your organization", 第三题说"make additional statements about the applicant’s performance, potential, or personal qualities"。其实在第一题describing roles的时候就可能会带出一些工作上的performance评价什么的；这样到第三题的时候performance又要怎么写？

请指教，thanks.

The former is about your present responsibilities and level of impact.  The latter is about your performance, future potential, and personal qualities.
