almost逻辑上应该是指的double，而不是expect，所以A B 错；GMAT里 ，which 不能修饰前面整句话，A E错了；expected that it will中it 和前面的production是重复的，B c 错。

不过我觉得那个平行来判断thus to provide 感觉不能作为第一判据吧，一般都是连词连接两三个并列成分，如and,or,conversely,neither nor,not but,等连接主宾表状等成分，才要求并列，那个 thus是个副词，连接的不是相同成分吧

我这道题也做错了，不过review的时候是这样想的：

B、C中that后头的it指代模糊，容易产生歧义，不好，去BC
D、E相似。两个比较中D比E例的“which would thus be providing”好，去E

我错选了A，但是总结前头大家的分析，逗号后的which逻辑上是表示前头说production会double这一整句话，但是语法上which不能指代一整句话，故D比A好。

求NN们指点！

almost是不是应该放在to后面啊 囧

expect正确的用法是expect that和expect to do
it is expected that是错误的用法
另外almost修饰对象错误

我做这题的时候，第一反应是D，但是看到了thus to provide 觉得好奇怪啊，不是thus都应该跟现在分词的吗？？？？google了也没有这类的解答......疑惑.......

B整句话理解就是，production可能会或者不会double，结果providing……但实际是如果production不double，就不会providing。所以almost修饰double的多少更合理。

Also, the usage expected that it will almost double seems to be awkward. Although the usage of expected that is tempting BUT the usage of IT creates a confusion

Production is expected that IT double by....
OR
Production is expected to double by...

Which one seems better?

我们可以说 production is expected to provide
但是 production本身是不能 provide的
