今天在天津外国语学院考试，马场别墅的低语，海派建筑的厚重，雕廊画栋的奢华，还没来得及欣赏，心情已经全无 Tonight, I have taken the ibt test from 18:00-22:30(Chinese time). When the first section of the writing began to time, the keyboad was out of work, and then I asked the examinator to deal with the problem in hurry. Three examinators came to my desk, but they can not find what is wrong.Finally, 3.5 minuts later, they handled the problem with sensitivity and direction. But, the clock was still run.My heart leaped into my throat. only 16.5 minutes left. The accident disturbed my sound thought of writing completely. When they left, I can not help jittering and depressing. During these days prepearation, I am very yearn for the test. Unfortunately, the fate funed me again. As a consequence, my whole writing section is unfinished and dull. In fact,I had witnessed the tragedy twice. Last time, I took the ibt in GuangXi Province, May 18,2007. The examinator doubted my ID card for a long time, even though I explained the situation of the photo on the ID card seriously. But,he continuously walked around my chair in the process of the test. In the oral test,the mike could not past the examination, the examinator,however, was not willing to do favor for me. Just ask me to wait for a few minutes. After the end of the whole test, I wonder to know why it was happened? The examinator explained that it is a bug of ETS system,which exception handles are not good enough to report the hitch of the hardware on time especially the keyboard. As the candidate, it is not my responsibility to check the hardwares before the test and modify the test system. But, this accident is do making a strong impact on me. After graduation, a good ibt score is a prerequisite to more advanced studies in American. My GPA is 3.7, SCI has published my paper, my experience of studing has arose the attention of major mass media of China, I has gain the recommendation from the senior scientist of UN.The professor also hope I can become his student later.Everything has done except the score.Now,there is no vacancy for the ibt test this year in China. Though, I had a bad performance on the writting section today. Frankly speaking, I has been sticking on my goal of studing since I graduated from high school. What a grievous loss that all the four years endeavor goes for nothing! 当我今年看到胜利的曙光时，才知道原来一切都是镜花水月！请跟我有同样遭遇的同学们一起向ETS申诉，we had paid for the service, therefore they should take responsibility for their fault! |
