I applied Wharton and HBS at the same time. Coincidentally, Wharton and HBS had the same Round 1 deadline.

But HBS didn't give me any information on their intent. It worries me most.

Actually, one of my recommender promised me a place in HBS. But I got nothing yet.

He is an HBS alumnus and very successful in business. I don't know whether he really has some powerful guys on the committee.

The point is he promised me a place in HBS!

To my understanding, HBS has its own weird selection standard. It prefers young kid with two or three years experience. So are you green enough?

Maybe you are right. I am 35 years old, about 8 years above the average of the class.

But the US law prohibits any school to reject an applicant on the basis of age, race, marital status, sexual orientation,...
