指代还是有问题，意思错的

2。BC也逻辑含义不平行。神经形成对应的宾语应该是“长脑子”(brain growth)，而不是brain

另，个人觉得when placed, when learn...这种时间状语，暂不说语法问题，使句子逻辑含义上欠佳
