不过希望有大牛出来给出最终的解释啊。

我觉得C是对的，E这里的that有点指代不明啊，可以指PLANT或者前面的事物。。。

并且E应该用for sb to do sth才通顺吧？？

又看了一下，发现C的 so that they are没错，因为they指代genetically enhance plants，而这些plants本身的状态就是disease- or pest-resistant，用一般现在时没问题。
