绿色：主语
青色：同位语，补充说明neurogenesis
黄色：谓语
深黄：平行
That 可以修饰mice引导定语从句
而when 不行，when引导定语从句只能修饰时间。如果理解成状语从句，这种情况从句是不能省略主语的。因为从句主语与主句主语不同。
这里压根就没有逻辑主语的事，因为没有不定式或者that引导的宾语从句。

能不能改成brain growth in mice和neurons increase in canaries更好吗？
