Don't worry man. My housemate, one China guy, used to be waitlisted last year.

Now he is about to graduate from Insead in end of July.

Well, redemotion, i think your roomie's success was an exceptional case. It's not easy to get off waitlist due to the high yield rate.

Anyway, let's keep the finger crossed and wish LZ good luck.

You know how insead works? If any Chinese student withdraw the admission they will give headcount to Chinese people in the waitlist. Because the one for one based. This year 16 Chinese students have the chance to study in Insead.

As I know a lot of Chinese students also apply B-school in USA. So many of them will withdraw the offer from Insead, if they could go to USA. This kind of things will not happen in Jan admission, since few USA B-school offer a MBA from Jan, except express course for self-employment.

I agree with RedEmotion. For Jan.intake, it's harder to get off wl due to higher yield rate than Sept. intake.But fewer applicants will apply Jan. intake...So the difficulty is roughly the same.
