注意：

1、because 和in that属于用词精确性的错误，属于比较轻的错误

2、instead of 和rather than也属于用词精确性的错误，属于比较轻的错误

3、比较结构避免歧义的一个方式是补充介词或助动词

还是对B比较疑惑.

因为记得OG(黄)51中说过in that 这个东西has gone out of use所以我把D排除了

because of到底有什么不好呢?

没有绝对的规则，所以不要试图去选“正确选项”，或者只关注挑错；要注意选项之间的区别

because和in that本质上是没有多大区别的，OG确实说过这样的话，但是并不是说应为过时了所以凡事有in that的句子都是错的，最多说它“不具现代感”（hehe~）。当存在既有现代感又没有致命错误、精工对仗的句子时，我们就不选D；但是如果没有这样的句子，我们就只能选D。这就是SC妙的地方：选项之间的比较。

这个题目明显是AD中选，D多了个at更加清晰地完成了比较；而A则可能出现歧义：
1) they are attached to a cartilage rod ... instead of the wrist
2) they are attached to a cartilage rod at the elbow instead of the wrist
另外就是一般认为rather than优于instead of，依据只是大量读OG题目和大全后的统计结果，并不严谨，但一般情况下成立。

还有个问题就是是不是because of+doing就一定错的?好象看PREP里面的题大都这样,而且似乎TONY大牛总结的笔记中也曾提过because of相对于because出现都错的原则..

如果是这样的话，再加上rather than 优于instead of的原则

排到最后就只剩下D了..呵呵

1）because of doing 绝大多数情况下都是错的，可以用这个标准来排除选项

2）rather than优于instead of这个原则，并不是绝对的，大全（或者OG，具体出处我不记得了）里面出现过instead of为正确选项的句子。所以这个只是辅助判断的工具，但是不是绝对的标准

3）A错最主要的原因是没有at，所以意思表达得不够清晰准确，有歧义。建议LZ多在这一点上花功夫理解。

个人感觉类似1）2）的知识点你都掌握了可以帮助你语文上35，总分700左右；但是要语文上40总分750＋就得走到3）的层次。多去理解句子的逻辑含义，这样会有收获的 ＝)
