顺带说一句，P198的25题选D应该，明显的排版印刷问题了，呵呵

我觉得，E选项although从句把题干里面的重心改变了
题干中Although从句强调的是air is moving rapidly,
E选项中Although从句强调的是formed by air。。
个人意见。
好吧我挖坟了。。。

63页第19题的解释，没看懂什么意思。。。
1.The peaks of a mountain range, acting like rocks in a streambed, produce ripples in the air flowing over them: the resulting flow pattern, with crests and troughs that remain stationary although the air that forms them is moving rapidly, are known as “standing waves.”

(D) stationary crests and troughs although he air that forms them is moving rapidly, are

答案是C，书上说D,E中although状语从句修饰介词短语with stationary crests and troughs 错，那C中不也是这样么？

1、根據subject-verb agreement可以排除ABD
2、although是subordinating conjunction，需要連接主從句。
C-- crests and troughs (that) remain stationary although the air that forms them is moving rapidly-- that只是指代c and t的關係代詞，撇掉不看，符合要求。
E-- stationary crests and troughs although they are formed by rapidly moving air--although前面只有一對名詞性短語，沒有verb，不能算是主句，不對

so選C~~XDD

C 为状语从句，修饰的是从句that remain stationary，完全成立。

D E 前面只有名词stationary crests and troughs，结构错。
