sh, i also read more recent INSEAD online chat. By and large, its tone changes little in terms of main issues.

Rick, remember to share ur interview story with us. There are three positive factors to enhance ur confidence:

1) Easy US visa leads more mainland Chinese applicants to US b-schools, not European;

2) High application season for most bs has finished, and u r competing with a bunch of wl or dinged guys (in most cases). We mainland Chinese pool is not the most competitive. More Indians accepted, but much more fierce.

3) Actually, iBT TOEFL 105, INSEAD bottomline,is tougher to attain than PBT 620 or CBT 260, prevending some applicants from Mainland China.   Loan issue also stops some Chinese applicants.

thanks for your 'confidence booster' sino :-） It's hard to know the competitiveness, especially the admin people have to weigh a lot of factors like diversity. Anyway, just do my job in the interviews and leave the decision to them.

I will surely share my interview experience once they are completed this Friday.

Don't worry!    I think you have lots of stories to tell and, as nnm mentioned early, present a clear picture of your growing path and career aspiration, show your character.

And I also heard years ago that Chinese applicant who gets an offer has a very very high chance to get in.

Hi! Karen, Is this another confidence booster The version I heard from inseadsh is "either you are too good or too bad", or simply they don't have sufficient alumni nearby.

I do have many stories to tell, but wonder what sort he will be interested in...

I will do it in Shanghai, possibly in eary June. Remain struck in Viet Nam.
