[求助]想从英国转美国

不知是否有高人成功从英国master转到美国读phd？众说周至英国一年的硕士是在暑假前考试暑假后交论文，但美国的phd申请在前一年的12月就deadline，那么如果在英国读硕的人把在英国的成绩和文凭交到美国大学的录取办公室？

Generally, UK schools give exams before the summer holidays and ask their students submit paper in September. So MSc candidates can not have any transcript to send US schools in December the year before.  The US phD program appliction finishes in December or January.

我倒是知道这样的例子，不过是一个法国人，一入学就申美国了，所以申请时候没有英国的学业证明，后来还是拿到的，论文没关系都可以远程提交，这样就基本还是靠本科

基本上是看你本科成绩。英国的学校可能会增加一点你的credential。如果你运气好拿到推荐信也是个plus

Is it possible to write some paper with British professors during master program study?

given the limited time (one year master program), the above mentioned event comes with trivial probability. you need time to master the knowledge, set up relationship, and WRITE out the paper. do you think you can manage to do all things within 3 or 4 months time? (you have to send your applicaiton package by the end of jan, safely speaking.)

我也是在法国读书。但在法国很难拿高的GPA，每门课满分20，我很少肯到有人那到14以上的。所以想去英国，都说在英国很好搞到distinction。不知道在英国GAP是如何换算成美国的GPA。
