不过我还有一个问题，弱弱的问一下，The resulting flow pattern中，为什么是resulting呢，这个resulting是当形容词由于讲吗？这个句子的意思是“由于这种流动的形状”吗？

请大家指点~~

我的理解：

C和D的意思有点不一样。

C更能体现although...对crests and troughs的影响——即remain stationary。

這牽涉到慣用的問題,當分詞片語表伴隨發生的情況時,其主詞通常以with引導.請大家翻到OG113,就可以看到,正確答案中with arms and legs hanging...就是表伴隨發生的情況.

但OG205若用with crests and troughs remaining stationary就會變得句意怪異,因為原句並不是表伴隨發生的情況,而且我查了一下字典,remain當Verb用時通常不用進行式.

至於with後面能不能加名詞+分詞的結構,我認為就文法上來說是可以的,從OG113就得到證明.
