NUS should make a difference in helping MBA graduates land better job, eith in China or in Singapore. I've called the NUS MBA Shanghai Office, below are their explanations: 1. It's ture NUS seldom held any special recruiment activities for MBA graduates, but this does not mean no recruitment. In fact, big companies always contact NUS MBA for good candidates expect that they are organized by the school or invited in a certain short period of time like the "recruitment season" of other MBA programs in mainland China; 2. Another reason that NUS MBA does not pay enough attention to job replacement of MBA graduates is that its composition of the MBA fellows are more diversified than that of the mainland MBA programs. More than half of the MBA graduates are from overseas other than China. This makes NUS MBA feel no big pressure of job placement. 3. NUS MBA has noted this problem and is striving to make a difference. For instances, it has now put more HR in its recruitment team and its China Office is now required to put more emphasis on corporate relationship and alumni network building. 4. NUS MBA alway encourages its graduates to work in Singapore after graduation for a while before he/she comes back to mainland of China. This will make his/her career more sucessful. 5. Singapore keeps its economic development with an annual GDP growth rate of around 5% these years. Finding a job in Singapore should not be very hard. Anyway, I think NUS MBA should not be a bad choice..... Right? |
