[求助]紧急求助！！！刚刚收到Maryland奖学金$40177 vs UCI $45000

本来一分没有的，偶大概3周前给学校发了一个email，请求能否再考虑一下给点钱。昨夜收到答复: Dean's fellowship.

这下问题来了

1、请问这个award到底啥意思，比起其它学校，maryland的好像有点复杂。摘录如下

The Dean's fellowship package is an award for the 2007 and 2008 academic years. You will receive a scholarship that covers tuition and fees for 2 years in your MBA coursework (54 credits maximum for the fall and spring semester of both years).

请问是不是说第一年只要自己付生活费就ok?那么第二年呢？另外，请问大概生活费1年需要多少？从email上看，似乎不用做什么TA,GA吧？

2、UC irvine给了2年总共45000。请问大侠们该如何抉择？偶是普通IT sales背景，31岁。最现实的目标就是想毕业后在美国找份工作看看先。据说Marketing/Sales基本没戏，而转finance也似乎不大现实。请相似经历之人点拨一二。

3、UCI的录取信件至今未到。学校答应将它和偶的资金证明原件（6个月！按照学校要求）以及I20一起用Fedex寄还。请问如果决定去maryland, 偶能打电话说偶最终决定不去了（已经交了定金），请他们只将资金证明原件寄回来？欧担心到时候他们就不用Fedex寄了。如果耐心等这些一起寄到，我可以再答复学校最终不去吗？那么偶到时需要将I20寄回去吗？

3. IMHO, maryland is better than UCI

I agree that Maryland is better than UCI. You can still have UCI's I-20 form and mail it back to UCI and tell them that you don't plan to go to UCI later. If you visit SEVIS website, you will find that having two I-20 forms is ok, you just need to make sure that you take the I-20 of the shool that you plan to go to for visa and you can only stick to this school.

To Zhanglihua: 偶大概3周多前发了个email给校方，但是一直没有回信。本周二校方问偶咋还没交定金？欧就把上次的email回复给他们。内容是强调自己的背景、对学校的向往和不得不考虑的经济因素。

我听说的如果你决定不去了，要把I-20寄回给学校的，因为上面有一个唯一的SEVIS编号，是已经进入到系统里面的。保险一点，你还是把I-20寄还给人家吧。

应该是全奖，而且好像还包括了第二年
