Rice ($48000) Vs. UCLA ($0)

Dear Friends,

I got two MBA offers: Rice (with $48,000 scholarship) and UCLA (without scholarship).

I know UCLA is a great school and Rice has a good reputation in Houston. And my wife works in Houston as an auditor/accountant now. If I choose UCLA, it is a challenge for both of us. Does anyone know the job market of accountant/auditor in Los Angeles?

Which school should I choose? Does the different MBA rank make big difference after MBA graduation? Is UCLA worth the money? Any suggestion?

If you want to stay in Houston, Rice is better. If you don't like living in Houston and want to relocate in other states, UCLA is much better than Rice.

I would also like to check out more about Rice. Can someone shed some light on 1) Rice's concentrations strength, 2) how many mainland students are intaken each yr and their background 3) it's international students placement prospect?

Majority of the UCLA graduates staying in CA. If you plan to live in LA, come to UCLA and there're lots accounting job here. But if you wanna stay in Houston after MBA, then go for Rice. Haha, this is Kobe VS. Yao, who do u prefer to watch?
