这题目还是要从意思入手：
卖掉赚钱的子公司，然后利用赚的钱....
（b)中which 指代subsidiary，试问子公司不卖那有钱用？当然不可取。
看来钱的来源是卖的行为，即that sale.
所以(d)为最佳答案。
