Jenking, english proficiency is very important for a candidate to be up to the rigorous study at an decent MBA program. One point here, admissions office may compromise its criteria for the sake of other factors. For example, if a program cannot attract enough applicants, it may admit some people who may turn out to not be up to. Anothr point, it is good for a candidate to take english proficiency very serious. You just do not have time to improve your basic english skills, especially listening and speaking skills, when you are under great pressure to deliver a good performane on MBA study. Few people who have langauge proficiency problem can really benefit a lot from a top quality MBA program. Imagine you cannot fully catch the key point sin discussion, nor participate in debate/argument or network. What can you expect of an MBA program? |
