答案是C。F大侠在笔记中说'the Oneida表示民族时用复数概念', 我同意C这个选项，但对这个解释存在置疑，如下理由:

the Oneida = one of the five-nation Iroquois League。既然是one nation，应该是集合名词的单数意义，那么谓语要用单数was。

如果是这样，那么A的错误是否在别的地方，例如sided不是修饰Iroquois League，而是修饰the Oneida。所以A的正确表达应该是was the only one of the five-nation Iroquois League, siding

偶不认为A中的was有错，但这道题真是头疼，这头疼来源于NN们的总结：

关于one of + n.(pl.) + that + verb的单复数用法

one of+复数名词，that修饰复数名词

the (only) one of+复数名词，that修饰the one

如果没有这个总结，我会毫不犹豫地认为A中的who sided有修饰歧义（即修饰League），但是根据以上总结，。。。。
        

矛盾呀！（不知NN的总结依据来源哪里的说）

偶准备以后只要是见到这种定语从句，都会认为它有歧义，除非是前面是隔了个介词短语。

LZ再多查查书吧。

可以从意思上把握一下，C的表达最好，去掉修饰成分后的主干是：the Oneida...sided with...

而A，即使who修饰主语，去掉这个定语从句之后，成为the Oneida was the only one of the ...League（很别扭，没把意思表达出来）

参考参考，再等NN。

这个题偶不只一次的选了A

如果the Oneida是表示一个民族，那么复数概念是没有问题的，类似的考点大全里面好像出现过the Shang。

但是在做题的时候，俺愣是读不出来the Oneida表示的是民族

LS说的那个总结我是认同的

另外还有一个问题，就是用who修饰the Oneida可不可以的啊。。？

搬个板凳一起等NN...

2） 被**所影响，O做了***

我也赞同2楼关于单复数的用法

因此选项A,我也实在在不到什么明显的错误,只能从意思上找了,同意楼上的楼上的看法

who修饰the Oneida从语法上不行,who修饰the only one,其实意思上是一样的吧

这题我也弄的不是很清楚,继续搬个板凳等大牛

这句话的本意是要体现the Oneida 和 "the others"是有区别的,而A" was the only one of the five-nation Iroquois League who sided "恰恰没有体现出来这种区别, 因为who 引导的定语只能修饰the  Oneida ,或者the five-nation Iroquois League 中的一个,所以句意模糊.
