一道语法题

1、theories approximate the truth 本身已经是完整的句子了，approximate 这里是动词，所以要求补出的是主语从句部分的内容，B补出的to determine补语放入句子里是混乱的，而A构成了主语从句。

2、这题从语法上A和C都没有问题，但是从句子意思上看，C要符合意思。THAT在这里只能充当同位语从句的连接词，因为你找不到THAT在句子中的意思和成分。而BY WHICH是通过。。。在定语从句中做状语。

我来现下丑.

1). Determining how closely theories approximate the truth 是主语, 其中How引到的从句做Determining的宾语. 整个意思是判断理论与实际的相符程度. closely是修饰approximate. B根本解释不同.

2) 把从句单独拿出来看, A是等于 method voters select the nominees for public  office. 解释不通. 如果说that仅起连接作用, method与后面的内容不能成为同位语.
