为什么美国人的gpa这么高。。。

美国学校的分数包括出勤率，作业，上课发言，还有期中考试，期末考试，小测验，综合给一个分的。（当然不是所有课都这样）A-,B+是常有的。A还是有一定比例的。有的只要完成一个PROJECT就可以了，不是都是有考试的。考试开卷，闭卷都有。（考题有的时候是3题中任选2题，自由度很大）各位如果在美国读MASTER,GPA会大大往上窜。它只是强度大，但只要你坚持下来，考试的时候，即使你感觉考的不好，最后分数还不差。

The point I want to say is that, yes, it is easier to get a high GPA in the US than in China. However, it is not as easy as all you think in some colleges. About 30% people in each class can get A while the chance for Chinese students to get A is higher than this. However, I would say, all the professor know about this, it is true that if you don't get a high GPA, say above 3.8, you cannot enter into a bull university after your graduation unless you are already in bull school. This is for Chinese. Don't compare to American! Here is their motherland.

Another point to say, don't bother to say the student in the US is so lucky and has such a big advantage. You should know several years ago, they were in China, they struggle for a few years to achieve their dream and get into a bull program. Don't you think it is unfair for your guys in China?

原来是这么回事.

我就一直奇怪,中国很好混啊，考试都超级简单.GPA还低.美国好难啊,强度又大,又难读. GPA还那么高.

我是工科学校的，GPA更不提了，咱班最高也就3.5

这成绩都不知道怎么拿得出手。。。

forgot to point out that actually in most cases Chinese students just compete with applicants in China. If you think your school gives too low GPA, don't give your GPA to American school. Just send your score, show your rank in department. professors can judge it by themselves. Usually they don't care your overall GPA but major GPA.

我是最惨的，硕士平均成绩也就是60来分,都拿不出手。可恨的是学校的教授还都是美国名校毕业的。

学校的政策是不到三分之一的人平均分能上70分，以前70分是学校上Ph.D硬性条件，现在还有Qualifying Exam。

 

个人也觉得美国本土学校的GPA 真的很高啊，动不动都3.5以上。

还有一点，我觉得美国人数学不差.还很用功.

对了，请教在美国念本科的，是不是真的85以上就算A的？还是直接给等级不给分？
