我觉得这个语法很多的时候是不是不要很认真的去抠到底正确的表达，很多时候是不是要
加上句意的理解。太过于去计较是不是只见树木不见森林：）

这个我觉得实际上从句意来理解作者要表达的意思是processed foods 中所含的
amounts of sodium实际上是非常大的，但是却是不能被人们所认识到的，也就是
hidden，所以是不是可以理解为一种强调，因为作者所要表达的就是强调出来的就是这种
未被认识的很大数量的sodium，所以表达成
contain significant but often hidden amounts of sodium
而不是contain amounts of significant but often hidden sodium。

但E中significant but often hidden显然都是在修饰amounts，但问题是amounts怎么能被hidden呢？ETS是不是晕了头？

My answer:
In the USA, the amount of salt, such as sodium chloride, must be labelled in the bag, however, other elements also contribute to the amount of salt, but these elements are not labelled with Sodium Chloride. Therefore, there are some hidden amounts of sodium.
