白勇给出的正确答案是B。可是在B中， where peasants lived and from which they commuted to farmlands in the countryside,能够并列吗？按照白勇在并列结构中的解释，where peasants lived应该是做状语性定语从句，而from which they commuted to....作限定性定语从句，功能不同，怎么能并列呢？因此，B我觉得也不对。

请问，我的理解对吗？请大牛指点。

我觉得where...和from which都是限定定语从句,我想,实限定性从句也是状语性从句的一种吧,都是起到修饰的作用

另外where=in which

其实就是in which和from which的并列
