我没有参加过大型的tour，但是去年参加过一些学校个别的event.
我觉得单独的event气氛很好，有充分的机会和ADCOM以及校友交流，还安排免费茶点和饮料。

毫无疑问的，单独的event要好得多，通常大型的tour上人山人海，你很难得到什么细节的信息，当然如果你有具体的问题，想问一下adcom，倒是可以。

我参加过9月份上海的mba tour,人还可以，没有前面那位描述的那么多，也不需要门票，我提前在网上register了一下，是免费的。去了在服务处直接找到自己的名字，会有张贴纸with your name and register number on it. 贴在胸口，就可以了。

转了半天，拿拿材料，聊聊也不过如此。不过如果你心中已经有了自己明确的目标，去和招生人员聊聊，或许有好处，看你个人能力与发挥了。还可以和校友聊聊，可以得到些first hand information。

今天晚上就举行了，还是想去看看，人要是实在太多，就回来呗！

我是肯定要去看看的。我主要的目的是想了解一下哪些学校可以提供一个比较适合我的program。就象之前一个朋友说的，学校和自己的条件和定位比较match的话，将会更有利于自己的发展。

不过听到人这么多，看来想了解的情况不一定能打听到了

I just came back from the MBA tour in Tokyo in Nov 07. And, here is some observation of mine.
1. I think attending this kind of activities is still useful. You indeed can ask many questions to the staff and alumnus even some of the questions are about how to write essays or how to present yourself. Most of the alumnus are very friendly and kind, who will give you a lot of opinions. Thus, don’t be hesitant to ask questions.
2. Though I don’t think this is helpful, some indeed bring their resumes and even ask about whether their GMAT score is enough. (Also, I don’t think GMAT score would bother most of CD’s XDJM.)
3. As for the dress code, I am glad that I wore in the business casual. It’s appropriate for the situation.
4. Last but not the least, the MBA tour was full of schools; people walked and talked. Thus, bring your own bottle of water. I found that the hall was quite large and it was very hard to go through people to buy water. Doing so will decrease the time you have to inquiry information.
