申请UCLA R2 的XDJM冒个泡，怎么一点消息也没有啊？

Hi liulei,

I applied for R2 and I also noticed that the deadline of campus interview was on Feb. 9

However, I still booked a date after that deadline.

I told my interviewer I applied for R2 and she said shw will review my application later.

My interviewer is associate director of admission. I believe she has the right to review my application.

I will suggest u that even it won't do any good for ur application,

it won't hurt neither if u still have an interview. Coz u never know what will happen.

Thanks a lot for your quick response. You are right, I should have kept the interview appointment. I guess I am just not aggressive enough . Now at this stage of game, I can only wait. I will let you know if I receive an invitation from the school. Good luck with your application.

楼上的MM是在大陆还是美国申请的? 我在多伦多,想约INTERVIEW发现加拿大就没有可约的人.

Hi nyla,

I am working in Los Angeles. Do not worry too much about the interview if you cannot schedule it by yourself. I cancelled my appointment since the earliest day that I can get is 2/13/07 and it is past the 2/9/07 deadline for all R2 interviews. Linda Baldwin (not sure about the spelling), the admissions director told me that after they review all the applications, they will call you if they think you are a strong candidate. Quote her exact words - "one way or another, I will get you".

P.S: I did not even notice there is a icon (boy/girl) next to each id until you called me "MM" .

有谁收到学校发出的面试邀请了,不论在大陆还是美国?我怎么一个都没有听到?好象贴出来的面试都是自己SCHEDULE的?谢谢!!!

打电话给UCLA，答复是在3月底给通知，告诉是面试还是拒绝。 看来有可能同时发出的。
