[求助]请教GWD25-Q10 分词的用法

搜索过了这题没人问过, 选B, 其他答案都有明显错误, 我的问题是, B中的swimming...分词作状语到底是起什么作用? 感觉即不是结果也不是伴随, 逻辑意思怪怪的,好象说设立了一个记录,同时游了多远...貌似C的意思更好一些, 游了多远, 因此设立了记录, 分词表结果, 就是有AND...怀疑是不是加多了

B好啊.  意思也没什么问题吧? GE 成功的游过了channel.....并且创造了个纪录.  而后面的swimming就是描述这个纪录啊....
    

我个人觉得C选项那个setting前的and怎么看怎么不顺眼
