A吧..原文的意思是four times more likely than....就是多四倍.也是前面的是后面的五倍.....而C中是four times as likely as ...是四倍哦...

王海波讲的＂倍数＂表达法：

（１）倍数＋as＋adj．原级＋as

　Peter　is　three　times　as old as I am.

(2) 倍数＋more than

Peter is twice older than I.

(3) 倍数＋n.+of

This house is three times the size of mine.

(4) 倍数＋that of

His weight is three times that of mine.

这是托福中讲的语法，不知道在这里有多少适用，仅给大家做个参考

觉得A的错误不是关于four times more 或者是four times as likely as的歧义问题，而正是A选项在than后面错误的补上了are, are is redundant here.
