美国一大学误发2700封录取信

新华社上午电 美国北卡罗来纳在学查珀希尔分校近日向2700名申请入学者误发电子邮件祝贺他们被学校录取，但实际上这些人是在录取的“等候名单”中。

北卡查珀尔希尔分校本科招生负责人法默在一份声明中说，学校2名雇员23日不小心向这些申请者发出祝贺他们被录取的邮件。

每年有2万人申请进入北卡查珀希尔分校，但学校只招收3800人，一些没有被录取的申请者被放入“等候名单”，如果已被录取的申请者放弃就读，“等候名单”中的申请者就有希望被递补录取。

Lucky, I didn't apply UNC coz it's too far away from Boston.

So, if we get an admission, we must double  check first with the school to make sure it's not sent by a MISTAKE.  Otherwise,.... would be disgusted ....
