这题目我觉得答案给的E不平行啊，前面是of a landmark in the industry 后面是 that

she is a woman。想不通，请指教

我觉得THAT与a landmark in the industry 平行。
THAT引导的是名词性从句，而a landmark in the industry是名词性短语。

我觉得这里的that she is a woman对应的比较部分不是a landmark in the industry，而应该是前面的That the new managing editor rose from the publication’s “soft” news sections to a leadership position

这句话的意思我认为是说这个新的牛人是从某一个section升上来的（估计以前这个section不出牛人），这件事比起她是一个女性来说更能够成为行业中的landmark。如果是这样理解的话，后面的部分自然要用that来引导与前面的that相匹配。

我仔细地想了想，觉得chenmoon说得很对。
我再把chenmoon的理解表达得清楚一点：
一个女人从“soft” news sections升任为the new managing editor。
这件事情了不起，其一她是个女的，其二从“soft” news sections升职非常困难。
但是从“soft” news sections升职尤其了不起，更是a landmark in the industry。

D，that she was woman,这里用了”was"，意思是说她曾经是个女的，意思不对了
