我收到2nd email: Thank You for your interest in the Ross School of Business.
Your application credentials will be checked 7-10 days after the application deadline, at that time you will receive an email verifying all required documentation was received or informing you that your application is missing documentation, you will have one week from the date the email is sent to submit the missing materials or your application will be moved to Round 3.
I just got interview invitation today and I have not received any confirmation email about my application materials. So i think confirmation email is not so important. Good Luck everyone!

I received the interview invitation very early, just one week away from the date I submitted my application for round 2. I had my telephone interview last Friday.
One week after I was invited to interview, I received an email confriming my application is complete.
So, I do believe such a confirmation email is not important at all. If you think you have submitted a complete application, then it should be complete.
