所有的学校，包括北美，都是有关系的容易进。Net work不等于走后门。

别把香港的学校说的这么不堪。

At least the admitting procedure for HKUST is very formal and i believe professors in good universities are all trying to find good students no matter what method they are using

谢谢楼主的提醒，不过香港那边的情况和美国的比确实还是有差距的。

One thing is certain. Business schools are just looking for good students. The reason is simple. When students graduate, they represent the university where they graduate. As far as UST BS is concerned, I do not know anyone who is admitted just because he has a good network here. But I do know some cases in which students who have a good relationship here are finally rejected during the formal application process. If we can not guarantee the fairness of application process, how can we survive in this competitive industry?

Of course there are huge differences between US and HK. US admit better students and there is no denying that most US graduates have better placements. But these are the very areas where we are trying to do better.
