可不可以这样理解，逻辑上说，帮忙 demostrate 的是“大炮打死鸡”这个实验，而不是cannon本身，而cannon 仅仅可以说是在 demonstrating 这个过程中起作用，所以 cannon...helpful in demonstrating... 才对。

这个逻辑之下，cannon shooting... 和 cannon that shoots... 差别不大，关键是 to demonstrate 的必定要是 实验，而不是 cannon，

cannon 只能在 in demostrating 这个过程起帮助。。。
