那difficult in和difficulties with在意思上有没有区别呢?

是不是說:  所以--用現在式, 因為--就要用現在完成式,(不能用過去式)

这题个人认为

如果A 改成 were found to have increased difficulty 是最合适的

因为原题没有明显的现在完成时时间标志,而且have been found 用现在完成时 表示 持续的发现动作 不如用 were found

与with连接时用 difficulties

能做一下补充嘛?i'm not fully convinced, i still don't see why we can't use difficulties. it's unstated in the question whether it's one difficulty or many difficulties. THANXXX

过去时是不能选的,除非以前是现在不是,而这个地方用完成时和现在时的区别不太大,用现在时也可以,但过去时不行

I think the main fault is "increasing difficulty", the adj. form of increase which modify n. in front of the n. should be increased, rather than incresing. Thus C & D are eliminated.
Moreover, the question is only talking about one kind of difficulty, thus options which use difficulties should be eliminated. Namely, we could only choose B.
