But NO money for me in the package. Should I contact the school and tell them I can not afford. That might be the last resort.
yes, alumni network does have strong inferrence on need-based scholarship at school and sometimes they themselves have the scholarship. If I were you, I will contact the Dean of the school directly and call the their alumni network chairman in Beijing. Be initiative, you will need this skill for life after B school.
i think you may contact some banks for loan,and there are many ways to get a loan without break the internal regulations of the bank and many banks provide this kind of loan but i just wonder if the amount of the loan you get is enough ,for as i know , 300k is the utmost amount you may get.
