记得看过一个分析，如果provide后面跟to，那么provide的主语得是to后面动词的逻辑主语，而加for的话，逻辑主语是不一致的..上面这个provides compelling support for classifying中，provide的主语是new genetic evidence,而for后的classify的逻辑主语不熟new genetic evidence,所以才用for...

不知这么解释对不对

GWD28-Q1这道题里discovery不能determine，而是scientist去determine，所以用for而不是to
